Trail 2 will not boot up
My Trail 2 will not get past the 'Loading OS' screen. I have tried holding the power button for six seconds several times, but this has not made a difference.
How can I get my device to boot up?

Hello,
Advice from another user.
Let him try to start alone ...
You can try to press and hold ON for more than 10s, and relrased this button (Reset).
Otherwise let him run and see if at some point the "watchdog" will wake him up.
Patiently waits for the battery to fully discharge, it will go itself to OFF
Connect the cable to recharge the battery (Connect to a Good electrical power source not to an USB of a PC), see if this process run correctly, the screen stay black but if you press quicly a button (on) the screen display the power level.
When the power is up to 50% of load, disconnect the cable and see if it restarts itself.
If not, press ON until the LED is lighted, and released the ON button
If restart is ok (we will estimate that for some unknown reason your GPS is crashed)
If it does not restart contact the after-sales service (send a request at the top of this page)
Best regards

The watchdog is an electronic device integrated into any processor-based system, which wakes it up automatically if the processor no longer works. The test report of your GPS at the end of manufacture checks this device. If the processor is planted it will wake it up, otherwise it is in a state where it works correctly but waits for an event (appointment) which does not occur. Let it discharge completely must wake up to cause a complete restart. With the ON button we often restart on the last context. It will take a long time to wait, but at least one other user has been saved this way. Hypothesis if we imagine that you were feverish on the buttons you could put it in an unforeseen situation, this is only an example obviously

I’ve got this problem right now - stuck on OS loading, hard reset not working (happened when I tried to charge it - lights flashed red and green a bit I think, I unplugged it and plugged it back in - now it’s stuck).
i’m away from home otherwise I’d try plugging it into a PC to see if that triggered anything but I might have to just let it run out of power.

Hello,
You are on the user forum. Use the "Submit a Request" link at the top of this page to get a response from After Sales Service.
I am using a TRAIL 2, I have noticed this case of the GREEN and RED LED blinking, it seems to happen when the Battery capacity is above 90% and when it is turned on and connected has a Power Bank. In any case, you have to let it happen and it goes well. In the same way if when turning OFF it takes time without viewing the hourglass, let it work and do not touch anything!
Try to drain the battery, but in the case of a "Loading OS" it is the "BOOT" which is faulty "software alterer", you will have to send it back to TwoNav.cordially
