Land 8.9.3 for Mac does not accept changes to data folder structure

Hi!

I have an issue with Land 8.9.3 on MacOS 11.0.1 "Big Sur".

Whatever I put into the "Folder" settings is lost and overwritten with the defaults after re-starting Land:

Any clues how to get this fixed? I tried and modified the gps.ini in Library/Application Support/Land8 directly, to no avail.
