Ordinance Survey Velo not connecting to satellites

I sat outside in a field for 15 mins, no signal whatsoever.

I then tried the 'Assisted GPS update'  which downloaded pretty quick and an hour later it is still trying to install.

Bought this yesterday, so far i'm not too impressed as without the GPS connecting this is just an expensive nightlight.
