Multiple Problems
I purchased an Aventura 2 on 1/8/2022. I have had multiple problems with it and it now doesn't work at all. I first used the device in May 2023. Problems:
1. The charging port cover does not fit and I have to tape it shut.
2. The unit sometimes switches itself off during use and I lose the data of my current activity.
3. The display sometimes stops illuminating and I have to reboot.
4. The amount of ascent has stopped displaying.
5. Maps I have installed have disappeared.
6. Settings are liable to suddenly change themselves.
7. The compass is extremely unreliable even after calibration.
8. The device will no longer pick up wi-fi.
9. The device now won't switch on at all unless plugged in to the mains. (Obviously no use to me). When I plug it in to charge, it is saying 100% battery but that is wrong. I have tried another battery, same result.
The unit has not been damaged in any way or got wet. I have downloaded the latest updates. Most of these problems have started in the last couple of weeks, since the update and just after the warranty has run out.

The legal warranty period in the European Union is 3 years since 01/01/2022 (Two years for products acquired before this date). Your GPS is under warranty until 07/31/2025. Use the send a request link at the top of this page to contact after-sales service (See § https://www.twonav.com/fr/conditions-generales-de -sale) TwoNav is therefore required to restore it to you (see General Conditions of Sale at the bottom of the page of the TwoNav site).

Try with a new charger capable of delivering, for an adventure, at least 3A at 5 volts. I had this case recently; I blamed the GPS, but it turns out that it was charger failures (2 cases in a few weeks). Since I use another charger everything is correct. Try a new charger before thinking about having it repaired.
