Sounds like an update gone wrong. Compe didn't publish a way to repair that. You can try to delete every ini file in the AppData section (make copies of them before you do that), which corresponts with a sort of factory reset of all the settings. If that doesn't help you need to contact support.

In principle, the fault is recorded in the log file, but with a black screen, apart from returning it for repair, there's not much else to do. You won't even be able to install the next version.
It's a problem allocating memory to a variable (observed by analyzing the log file in this version on both my GPS devices). Therefore, the perception of the fault will be different between two different GPS devices, because it all depends on what is overwritten in the memory space when this variable is created (a classic case study for any IT professional).
Send it back for repair under warranty because the screen is black after the update.
I don't understand why TwoNav is taking so long to release a new update.
