Can someone help me load map in TwoNav Land 10 via WMS?
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to load a Swiss topographic map from the geo.admin.ch WMS service into TwoNav Land 10, specifically the following layer:
ch.swisstopo.swisstlm3d-karte-farbe
So far, I’ve created a .wms file with the following content:
[WMS]
name=Swisstopo swissTLM3D Map (Farbe)
url=https://wms.geo.admin.ch/
version=1.3.0
layers=ch.swisstopo.swisstlm3d-karte-farbe
format=image/png
srs=EPSG:3857
bbox=-20037508.34,-20037508.34,20037508.34,20037508.34
tileSize=512
transparent=true
I saved the file in my CompeGPS\Maps\ folder, but unfortunately I can’t get it to work properly in Land 10. Either the map doesn't show up at all, or it loads as a blank/gray area. I've tried changing the SRS and BBOX values but still no success.
🧭 Has anyone successfully loaded this or any other Swiss WMS map in TwoNav Land?
💡 Would someone be kind enough to share a working .wms file as an example?
I’m a bit stuck with this and would really appreciate any help, tips, or even a sample that works.
Thanks in advance!
Lukas

Hi Lukas, most of us use mobac for that. This Link should work:
http://randochartreuse.free.fr/mobac2.x/mapsources/Suisse%20(Swiss)/
-
Nethertheless, there is an older tutorial at the naviboard, which is way better organized than this "forum". It might be helpful:
https://www.naviboard.de/thread/52832-kurs-wie-erstelle-ich-eine-cwms/
-
And you could try this (untested, save as cwms):
VERSION=1.1.1
WEB=https://wms.geo.admin.ch/?SERVICE=wms&VERSION=1.1.1&REQUEST=GetMap&SRS=epsg:4326
PARAMS=&FORMAT=image/jpeg&LAYERS=ch.swisstopo.swisstlm3d-karte-farbe&
LAT1=44.2198
LON1=3.58663
LAT2=48.8664
LON2=13.6508
Projection=1,Lat/Long,
Coordinates=1
FORMAT=JPG
DATUM=WGS84
SCALE=25
