Can someone help me load map in TwoNav Land 10 via WMS?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to load a Swiss topographic map from the geo.admin.ch WMS service into TwoNav Land 10, specifically the following layer:

ch.swisstopo.swisstlm3d-karte-farbe

So far, I’ve created a .wms file with the following content:

name=Swisstopo swissTLM3D Map (Farbe)
url=https://wms.geo.admin.ch/
version=1.3.0
layers=ch.swisstopo.swisstlm3d-karte-farbe
format=image/png
srs=EPSG:3857

I saved the file in my CompeGPS\Maps\ folder, but unfortunately I can’t get it to work properly in Land 10. Either the map doesn't show up at all, or it loads as a blank/gray area. I've tried changing the SRS and BBOX values but still no success.

🧭 Has anyone successfully loaded this or any other Swiss WMS map in TwoNav Land?
💡 Would someone be kind enough to share a working .wms file as an example?

I’m a bit stuck with this and would really appreciate any help, tips, or even a sample that works.

  Hi Lukas, most of us use mobac for that. This Link should work:

  Thank you very much for the link. The advantage of the wms service is that everything is up to date. Mobac is only offline. Thank you

  Yes thats true. But the mobac script might help you creating a Land cwms file too.

  And you could try this (untested, save as cwms):

  Ok, your script works, the coordinates are fine, but the projection is a bit stretched out
