OS maps not as detailed

I have been using the Twonav Terra gps for around a year, but over the last few weeks, I've noticed that when I zoom in on the maps, its just a blur. I can't zoom in to see greater detail. 
Can I do anything to improve this?

  Thanks for your reply. 
  I think I may have resolved the issue. There was a software update a few weeks ago and I think that may have changed the map settings.
