Crashing new app
Hello,
I'm reading the discussions throughout this forum and can't understand how this app works for anybody. Ever since the update to Twonav 5 on iphone, the app hardly works.
It crashes when panning a map and when zooming in and out quickly.
Also, the menus do not work. I can't activate maps, can't change settings, nothing.
This app, which I've paid for has been rendered COMPLETELY USELESS in the last couple of months. This is also evident in the terrible reviews that this app receives in the app store.
What's going on? How come nobody here mentions this, and when are the problems going to be fixed?

Hello,
Under Android, we, the users, had noticed that the problems noted were mainly (not only) due to an incompatibility between the TwoNav App and the software overlays implemented by the SmartPhone manufacturers. According to the manufacturer this was not going too badly.
Since update 5.0.5, for my part, the TwoNav App works correctly, I have no problems.
My SmartPhone is recent, and I have the latest version of the Android OS. I have never tried to install it on an older tablet that accepts with difficulty or even refuses recent apps.
In addition, this update was made at 0 € it cost me nothing neither the app nor the updates.

Hi,
Well, I’m on iPhone 12. A pretty new model (less than 1 year old), with an updated OS.
So perhaps there is a problem specifically with iOS. Maybe TwoNav users generally do not use iPhones. Otherwise I can’t explain how there’s no mentioning of this. As it stands, I can’t use TwoNav on my smartphone. -
iPhone 12pro latest iOS running and exactly the same issues. The app crashes and you can not switch between any on the menu settings. This is the paid for premium version and it has now been rendered useless. This was my go to app for mapping navigation and now it can not be relied on. I have just download Gaia GPS app and will look at swapping over to that. This is unfortunate as Land is a great program for the desktop but unless I can get my hands on the previous version on TwoNav which used to work perfectly, I will be left with no other options as I utilise it for search and rescue requirements.
