    Good evening,

On this forum, you are addressing users not TwoNav, that is if we talk about "Nonsense"... TwoNav cannot sell what does not exist!

So ask your question to the Portuguese institutions, the other countries have a "National Geoagraphical Institute".. Or to the Portuguese MPs!

If there is no offer it means that there is no product or that it is reserved for an elite!

Then, look at Open Street Map, if however there are contributors in this country, the OSM map must be developed!

It is then enough to make an OSM import and to save it in MPV or PPVF to have a map.

    Hello,

This Map is for Garmin GPS (format). If you upload this Map in  PC IMG format, and open it with LAND, Then  Save this Map in thé *mpv or *mpvf... The Map Can be used by Land and TwoNav GPS.

But the best way is to load data from OSM (open street Map), ajust the sreen view ton thé Map target, Then upload data by the second link (api..overpass.) a New file call Map is in the download path. Then rename this file to map.osm. Open this file map.osm with Land and Save it to mymap .mvpf (for Land and thé GPS), on . You Can ajust the Map view color, Line , ... Open the layer Then properties and Save the file.clay. this file.clay Can be used later for all others Map (same name of the Map and put it in the same path). In Land menu Map édit you Can create data for automatic Road commutation.

    Hello,

Map formats are like text file formats, each software has its own, for maps it is the same each GPS manufacturer has its own format.

TopoLusitania - Mapa topo de Portugal para GPS Garmin

You want to use files intended for Garmin GPS in a TwoNav GPS, it simply does not work.

The only way to do this is to import the garmin map file intended for a PC, open it with Land and try to save it in a TwoNav compatible format.

Unlike many European countries on the side of the Portuguese institutions, the cartographic sources are locked. It is an observation.

As I told you, there is the solution of directly importing OSM data (Which is also the source of the Garmin maps that you link). Once these data are imported, just save them either in *.mpv or *.mpvf and you have a map for Land and your GPS. The visual aspect (as in the link you put with the *.typ file) is customizable it is a *.clay file, which can be used for another map. This *.clay must have the same name as the map.

There is also MOBAC (Mobile AtlasCreator) which is a tool that allows you to make maps (OR MB TILES) for several families of GPS or SmartPhone App. But for Portugal unfortunately there are few cartographic sources available, I have already discussed the subject with a friend who does cartography in Portugal. It seems to me that the sources are military and protected.

Obviously, you should make a map, by yourself you will not succeed?
