Software Land extremely slow

Hello,

shortly after installing, the software "Land" didn't build up the map correctly and extremely slowly. Thus planning tours becomes very tedious, planning spontaniously is as good as impossible. 

Has anybody had the same problems and could give a hint how to solve this problem?

  Hello,

  The software version ? 

  With Window 11 and Land 9.3.3 it is good

  Try to clear the "temp pats"

  Hi Stefan,

  first please provide us:

  - operating system

  - LAND version (actual availabel for download is LAND 9.3.1, Thierry might mixed version up with Twonav 5.3.3

  - which map?

  Hi Thierry and Gert,

  thanks for answering so quickly. The operating system is Windows 11, since Land was installed just 2 weeks ago it's the current version 9.3.1., the map is World-Base-Map. Sometimes tiles open within a relatively short time, others take ages. My laptop is practically new, as is my wife's (same problem there). Temporary files are automatically cleared on shutting down.

  Hello,

  I think it's a problem with the server for this map, which I never use. It got horribly long

  Try with ON LINE MAP /MapPlus/OutDoor...

  Hallo Stefan,

  i just tested it with my 12 years old WIN10 PC and LAND 9.3.1.

  Zooming itself is quickly but it takes some time until all tiles are loaded if you have zoomed in e.g to 100m.

  If i access this map with a browser https://a.tile.opentopomap.org/

  i also can see those delays. So i also suspect like Thierry that the problem it is more on the server site.
  I have compared the base.map with Germany_TopoPlusOpen_BKG and didn't noticed a big difference.

  It seem to be faster but it is a different server.

  viele dank für die Antwort. Ich habe in die shop einige interessante Karten für unsere Urlaub zu download gefunden, und hoffe das die Problem dann besser wird.

  OK, so this is exactly what I wanted and needed. The online version is super fast, the version in the Land application takes forever to load (if it ever loads). This makes the whole application for me slightly useless. What can I do??

  Hello,

  I don't notice any slowness on my PC. There must be a "filter" somewhere in your house that slows down the loading of the tiles.

  In principle on the same area, between two Land openings there should be no delays since the tiles are already in the cache.

  There may be some latency when the area of interest is moved while the tiles are imported.
