    Good morning,

I think it's the mess in the configuration files, they must have been duplicated over successive updates.

It is difficult to know which configuration file is retrieved by Land at startup.

So what I suggest to you:

Rename the CompeGps folder to OldCompeGps to be able to recover your data after the reinstallation (maps, tracks, etc.). the folder is in c:/user/document/..

Then you will save the three files gps.ini, default.cjt, and mapkek.mkeb which are in c:/programdata/ Land (installation folder of Land 8.9.7 unless you overwrite Land 897 with Land 9.6.1) ..

Then delete from the PC Land 9.6.1 then Land 8.9.7

Delete all Land and CompeGps folders from c:/programdata and c:/program (Check that there are none in C:/program x86). Make sure with the file manager that there is nothing left!

Close Window (PC OFF) then start the PC for total cleaning.

Then reinstall Land 8.9.7 => in the LAND 897 path in order to correctly juxtapose the two versions.

    https://www.twonav.com/fr/downloads

Once installed, close Land without entering the code, then you copy the three files gps.ini, default.cjt and mapkek.mkeb into c:/programdata/LAND 897.

Copy/paste the two folders /data and /Map (only these two folders) from C:/User/document/Old CompeGps into the new C:/User/document/CompeGps which has just been created.

Relaunch Land 897 and it should start properly, if this is not the case it is because the configuration files are corrupted, you must then enter the land key (this key is in your account) and/or the map key .

To skip this step you must install Land 961 (path LAND961), provide it with your email address and in principle it finds its key on the Land server (a specific subscription is required; the 897 key will not be used) this version of Land is stable , more stable than 93x.

Do not copy the gps.ini from Land 897 to Land 961, they are no longer the same keys, it will not work. If you copy default.cjt and MapKey.mbkey from c:/programdata/Land897 to c:/programdata/Land961 you find the same map environment as in 897.

In case of instability uncheck Opengl in Land preferences

    Good luck
