Issues in LAND 10 & 9.81
I mainly use Twonav Land to create and edit tracks on aerial or topographic maps. However, recent changes in Land make this activity more difficult for me. Can this be remedied?
--- ERROR in Land 10
- When editing tracks, the map shifts very quickly, even with small movements of the selected point to be moved, not only at the edges but also in the centre. In addition, the map is often moved more than is necessary. This is quite annoying.
- Directional arrows are automatically enabled on the track. How can I turn them off? I can't find the option in the menus. This is really annoying on some screen resolutions.
Already present in Land 9.81
- When track editing is activated, the first point is automatically selected. This is very annoying if the point to be edited is far away from the first point. Can this be made configurable?

Hi,

Which map, what exactly are you doing.
What can possibly (Hypothesis) happen is a mismatch between the resolution of your screen and that of Land, they have increased the resolution from what I understood. Is your PC old? What is the screen resolution?

Can this be made configurable?I believe the solution was presented in the accompanying document of a previous update. An icon has been added to address this need.

For your map offset problem when you designate a point (Which seems attributable at first reading to a resolution problem, the coordinates designated on the screen => computer-wise your initial click is on the screen matrix, then Land must report this screen coordinate on the map coordinates. Or a Datum problem (Geographic reference of your map). It must be at this level. Do a test using fast track to trace to confirm or deny what you see
Fast Track will use OSM nodes to draw the track

Hi Thierry,
I am working with a new W11 machine i7-12700 (integrated GPU) and a 40' monitor with 3840x2160 pixels. The map shifting mainly happens with ECW maps. I have not noticed it with VMAPs yet. I will try GeoTIFF, WMS and mbtiles (thanks for making them work in V10) and report back.
And thanks for your quick reply.
Greetings from Franconia
Bernd
