TRK format

Does anybody have the description of the TRK file format they can share? Or a link to the documentation of the TRK format?

I can start guessing, but I would prefer to use some kind of (official) documentation when building in support for this format in my application.

  Last official document, I know of and have access to, is called: "compegps_formats_uk_v103.pdf" and is from 2011.

  I have something more but it is in German and is not official. 

  Example

  X field:

  Definition via X, bisher untergekommen:

  X  74, (Ultra) Temperatur in Kelvin,
  X 152,3924,3928, (Aventura2)   Genauigkeit,Vertikale Präzision,Geschwindigkeits-Präzision,
  X  376,377,378, (Android 3.3.10 tritt auf ab 3.3.8) Herzfrequenz,Trittfrequenz,SensorGeschwindigkeit

  Hello

  Since the last versions, the insertion of an icon translates according to the method of insertion in three different ways two lines a and a line W. And the content of these lines varies somewhat.

  Thanks for the info. Looking into GPSbabel source code will be my last resort. I already have the main TRK support in my application. Just looking into getting more info on the track and device for display.

  Hi,

  May be you can try also RouteConverter source code. This app can open .trk files, so I suppose it is possible to find some infos in the code...
