Removing and re-installing maps

My two nav cross GPS is reaching its capacity on maps installed. Can I remove the purchased maps from the GPS and then re-install again at a later date when I need them? How many re-installs are you allowed to have as it says 3 on the list of purchased maps. Is this correct?

  Hello,

  There is no limit to deleting or reinstalling your maps on the same device.

  The limitation you mentioned concerns the number of different devices on which you can install a purchased map.

  Depending on how you like to delete those maps or parts of it and reinstall it, there are some important steps to do first (*.mkey/mkeyb backup for instance).

  Hello,

  No, not at all. Just run the installation, and the key file will be recreated if it has disappeared.

  Validate, and it works.
