Aventura: Menu interaction with joystick is broken

The behavior of menus when using the joystick is not consistent. Not all issues apply to all menus:

1) Selection of first item, when entering a menu: Usually none is selected. Pulling the joystick sometimes selects the second entry in list instead of the first one. e.g. main menu

2) Some menus do not scroll when the selection leaves the visible screen. Even worse the focus seems to be lost when scrolling via touchscreen. A new pull on the joystick will jump to the next item. So you have to go back again. Example menu: menu of an activity.

This make it very hard to use the joystick in a sensible way.There is no way to operate the device with gloves purely by buttons and joystick. But that should be the key feature of the Aventura.
