LAND (8.9.2) Trial version: "Land.exe" process in the background

Hi
I'm using Twonav LAND (8.9.2) Trial version (it's still within the 30 days of "Pro" functionalities):
(as a quick alternative to 2 other registered programs for visualizing maps/tracks)

After shutting off the program, a "LAND.exe" process appears (and stays) in the background.
It remains there unless I do terminate it manually from the Task Manager!

(Win 10, 16Mb Ram, no major problem with the normal use of Land,
except for some random issues of "Access violation")

Is this behaviour of the Land background process, normal?
