Rechargeable Battery for Avantura 2009
Hello,
I'm looking for a new rechargeable battery for an Avantura 2009. It is not available in the Twonav-Shop. But does anybody know a dealer or manufacturer who sells a substitute?

For me, it is not batteries for Aventura 2009. They are for the new one.
My battery do not have this shape, neither 5000 mAh. It is too much.

There are two types of battery one Li Po (Aventura 2009) and LiIon (Aventura 2). These are different technology batteries and LiPo technology needs to be used with rigor, in the event of an error it ignites spontaneously. So strongly discouraged from replacing one techno by the other.
If you have a look, these two sites Alltricks and Deport Village (there are other ones) for example Mega Affair offer for sale the original batteries for the two generations of aventura.
I think we should not procrastinate too much before buying, they must sell their stocks.
Then, as with older GPS, these batteries are not specific, battery in hand is sufficient to type the reference into the google search engine to find a distributor on the planet.

Il y a deux types de batterie une Li Po (Aventura 2009) et LiIon (Aventura 2). Ce sont des batteries de technologie différentes et la techni LiPo demande a être utilisée avec rigueur, en cas d'erreur elle s'enflamme spontanément. Donc fortement déconseillé de remplacer une techno par l'autre, normalement les connecteurs doivent être conçus pour que ca soit impossible.
Si ont regarde bien, ces deux sites Alltricks et Deport Village (il y en a d'autre) exemple Mega affaire proposent a la vente les batteries d'origine pour les deux générations d'aventura.
Je pense qu'il ne faut pas trop tergiverser avant d'acheter, ils doivent écouler leurs stocks.
Ensuite, comme pour les GPS plus anciens ces batteries ne sont pas spécifiques, il suffit batterie en main de taper la référence dans le moteur de recherche google pour trouver un distributeur sur la planète.

Hello,The Aventura 2009 had 2 models. This is why there are two models of battery adapter. Then there was the 2018 Aventura, then the Aventura 2 2020. There are 3 manuals for the Aventura range.
Les Aventura 2009 ont eu 2 modéles. C'est pour cela qu'il y a deux modèles d'adaptateur de piles.
Ensuite, il y a eu les Aventura 2018, puis, les Aventura 2 2020. Il y a 3 manuels pour la gamme Aventura.
I entered in Google, one by one, the "references" of the very small label and I had no convincing results.
J'ai entré dans Google, un par un, les "références" de la très petite étiquette et je n'ai eu aucun résultat probant.

@Thierry CHARLÈS: My previous Google search on this topic was unsuccessful, so I asked on this forum. I tried again, with the numbers on the little label (865859 and 9011225000890). But I had no luck again, just like Laurent.
Also I did not find the rechargeable battery for an Aventura 2009 on Alltricks and Deport Village. I was not able to find the shop "Mega" at all. Could you please sent me the link?
The link I sent in my second post (https://www.twonav.com/de/zubehor/wechselakku-aventura) was just to illustrate what kind of battery I was talking about. I know it is for the newer Aventura devices, not mine built in 2009. And I know, that they are incompatible with each other.

2009 is a product that is more than ten years old, but currently suppliers are only required to have a stock to cover the 3 years following the launch of the article.
So when there is no more at the supplier or the resellers it is necessary to search on Google with the reference of the battery. If this one is still manufactured or held in stock for other products (which is the case for the sportiva battery for example), it will come out. If Google doesn't release anything .. Sadly, it's over.
Launch several searches, with different cases, quotation or not, in several languages ... etc. You will see if there is a site which still distributes this battery.
This way of doing allowed me to find a wheel axle at a dealer in England, while for all the professionals consulted there was no longer on the market.
It is even more difficult to find, if you reference a similar product.

thanks for your post and sorry for my late reply. Summer is coming to Germany and I was not on my desk, but outdoors :-)
Thanks for your tireless research to solve my problem. How did you find that shop? To be on the safe side, I asked the dealer if it is really for the version 2009 (sometimes they use old pictures). And if they ship to Germany.

It was a bit of luck that guided me. In my research, I read that in Spanish, a spare battery was called: "Batería de repuesto".
So I typed this sentence into Google: "Batería de repuesto para Aventura 2009" . I found 3 sites in Spain but for 2 the stock was zero. I gave you the third link.
I have also an Aventura 2009.
