Autolaps by elevation (uphills and downhills)

Dear All

TwoNav system can autolaps by distance and time (Land 9 also by air conditions: thermals and transitions), but I am currently looking for different way of autolaps distinguish.

Namely, I am interested by cutting the tracks into laps by uphills and downhills.

Do you know any way to distinguish certain parts of the track as mostly going up, and mostly going down?

I also know that TwoNav is working on autolaps by slope, which is not released yet.

Garmin have excellent elevation profile "high points" and "low points" which hardly any (none?) software is able to do... - any suggestions are welcome.
