Land does not install on Windows 11 on ARM
I recently switched to a laptop running Windows 11 on ARM (Snapdragon processor; as in Surface Pro, Lenovo X13s…). I tried to install Land 10 (and Land 9 or Land 8, for which I have a full licence) on the machine and I get an error message (just after choosing the Language): "This program can only be installed on versions of Windows designed for the following processor architectures: x64". The installer exits (I borrow some phrases from a different forum, here).
Windows 11 on ARM is fully compatible with 64-bit x86-64 Windows software. The installer appears to mis-detect the host OS as not being x64-compatible when it launches. Software does not need to be ARM64. The installer simply needs to identify that the system is x64 compatible and not refuse to install because it mis-detects the capability of the x64 emulation that the installer is already running under.
The installer use Inno Setup, that from version v6.3.0. support ARM64's x64 emulation. It seems that in the previous versions of Inno the installer platform itself lacked the ability to discern x64-native from x64-compatible. If not, there are simple changes to make in the setup to loosen it from "x64os" to "x64-compatible".
Land 8 and 9 do have this check on processor architecture and do not install. Land 7 instead appears not to have and it installs correctly and work fine on my ARM Lenovo X13s.

Use Uniextract with the installer (exe file), create the install folder manually, copy the files into them and start the Land.exe file. Appdata folder will be created by the program itself. It might be possible that you have to set some permissions for the ini files manually later. Uniextract is available here:

Uniextract 2 worked/works perfectly. Land works now, as it should, under the simulator available in Windows 11 on ARM. You solved the issue. I tried before other quasi-extractors to correct instructions inside the installer but I do not know enough on the matter. Thanks and send you a coffee.

If you can please describe a step by step guide for using UniExtract
Every time i try scanning or extracting the land.exe i get "access violation" boxes, nothing happens.
Seems like the only Land i can install now is v7, lol, so sad, not even the version 8 x32 will install.

As said in an email to you, it failed both in my surface with arm64 and in my wife's laptop with intel x64
For everybody else info we're trying to share the extracted folder created by Uwe and copy it to my laptop.
And also wondering if installing land in my wife's laptop (intel x64) and the copying the programfiles/land folder to my programfiles would work... i don't think so...

Uwe shared his extracted folder with me.
I copied it to C:/Program Files/Twonav Land
Launched the Land.exe and voilá, working.
Typical folders in Documents/CompeGps were created as well as in C/ProgramData
My only complain, Land keeps counting devices despite i always log out before uninstalling. Logging out is useless, Land keeps your old devices in its list of used devices. Will need to speak to them..

Las típicas carpetas en Documentos/CompeGps se crean como si hubiéramos instalado el software normalment.
También las carpetas en C:/ProgramData
La única queja, y no es nada nuevo, es que Land sigue descontando licencias. A pesar de que siempre tengo la precaución de cerrar sesión en Land antes de desinstalar, pues nada, Land se sigue acordando de los viejos ordenadores, le da igual que cierres sesión, así que me queda una de cinco cuando solo lo tengo instalado en este pc, lamentable, nada nuevo, pasa lo mismo con la app en el móvil, al final hay que contactar con ellos y pedirles que reseteen la cuenta.

May I ask to send the extensive tutorial to install compe Land 10 on ARM computer (here Microsoft Surface Pro 12 Windows 11. I copied C:/Program Files/Twonav Land from W11 PC where it is working to the ARM Device but here Land 10 closes down after 1-2 min. Which is not a useful setup. I am a frwhmen, not very talented on computers .

I installed the arm version today following UWE directions. No problem so far.
Just remember to first logout on your previous version.
I have to prepare the install pack on my wife's pc (regular intel pc) since my arm surface laptop won't do it. Uniextract does not work on arm properly.
That is:
Ue uniextract on another pc.
Copy paste the extracted files to c/programfiles/TwoNav Land1061 (i add the numbers but it could be anything).
Delete the previous folder c/programfiles/TwoNav Land1050
