Aventura - replacement rubber cover

I need to replace the rubber cover for the recharging port, as the tiny hole through which a screw holds the unit has torn. I am very worried that electrical damage may result when I next use the unit in the rain! Has anyone managed to get one of these? Or have suggestions for mending it?

  For clarity, the cover which I need appears to be the same as is fitted to the current Aventura 2 plus and Aventura 2 plus motor, NOT the one shown on the TwoNav website for the older Aventura models.

  Try contacting support, since this is a premium segment GPS, they certainly should provide replacement parts. If it was me searching, I would meanwhile look at other solutions, since micro usb rubber cover seem to be quite common, f.i.:

  Thank you for your suggestion Uwe. I had contacted Support, but their initial reply was not very informative, and seemed to suggest that they could only supply covers for an earlier model as are shown on the “accessories” part of their sales website. In response to my query, they have finally explained that the correct cover is technically not for sale, but is available and will be provided free of charge, subject to my paying for the carriage.

  Phil Knight it's a poor design. The cover or connections should be the other way around. Rather than using USB C they went with a USB connection that only fits in one way and the way it fits in forces the lead you get with the device to go across the rubber cover and potentially damage it. I'm looking to buy a USB cable that is shaped in a way to prevent this, either a straight (non right-angle one), or one that would prevent forcing the rubber cover to possibly break over time.
