I purchased an Aventura 2 on 1/8/2022. I have had multiple problems with it and it now doesn't work at all. I first used the device in May 2023. Problems:
1. The charging port cover does not fit and I have to tape it shut.
2. The unit sometimes switches itself off during use and I lose the data of my current activity.
3. The display sometimes stops illuminating and I have to reboot.
4. The amount of ascent has stopped displaying.
5. Maps I have installed have disappeared.
6. Settings are liable to suddenly change themselves.
7. The compass is extremely unreliable even after calibration.
8. The device will no longer pick up wi-fi.
9. The device now won't switch on at all unless plugged in to the mains. (Obviously no use to me). When I plug it in to charge, it is saying 100% battery but that is wrong. I have tried another battery, same result.
The unit has not been damaged in any way or got wet. I have downloaded the latest updates. Most of these problems have started in the last couple of weeks, since the update and just after the warranty has run out.
