Dis function after rain

    Hello,

It's a goner—water got into your GPS. Short of submerging it in rice for a few hours...

I experienced this a few years ago with a Trail 2; water had seeped into the buttons and the screen. TwoNav replaced it with a new unit, which has worked perfectly ever since.

I was out in the mountains and barely managed to get through the day by using the app instead.

Since then, I always carry a backup, especially for long outings.

    Best regards

    Merci Thierry pour ton retour.
CAN you tell me more about navigating through the app? You mean you have used your phone instead of the GPS to navigate to your next steps?
I have put the device on a radiator (no access to rice) and I will wait few hours. I cross the fingers

I also tried placing it on a radiator, but without success; it all depends on where the water got in.

The app has exactly the same interfaces and functions as a GPS unit. In principle, it is included in the subscription as part of the basic package.

    Best Regards
