Android version s8 plus rec disabele in screen off mode ?

Hi. I'm a happy user of Twonav android from more time. But now i have a problem on my new Samsung S8 plus in registration trak mode twonav don't rec trak points in screen swich off mode. If the screen is on i have't problem when it is off i think gps go to sleep mode or similar. I 've disable all battery saving mode. How can i solve this problem ? Thanks.

    Hi Giorgio,

    It seems this behaviour happens in some smartphones with Android 8.

    At this moment we don't have a date to have a solution.

    I have the same problem with my Huawei P9light Android 7, but the stranger things is that some mounth ago It works good!

    Hi Luca,

    Could you please check if TwoNav is set as 'Optimize battery' in Android settings?

    In that case, maybe setting it as 'Don't optimize battery' could solve thep problem.

    Some users also solved the problem by using the external app GPS Locker.

    Hi TwoNav Admin, unfortunately none of your advice worked, the problem with track recording persists. I tried all the combinations of both Android and Twonav. I also tried with the GPS locker...

    If you have other suggestions, please let me know because for me it is very important to use Twonav premium, even for work. I'm a geologist

    Problema NO SOLVING.

    Te está diciendo el usuario que no funciona, que ha intentado con GPS Locker y sigue sin funcionar.

    ACTUALIZAR DE UNA PUÑETERA VEZ LA APLICACION

    NO FUNCIONA CON ANDROID 7, 8 Y 8.1

    ¿Porque tiene el usuario que utilizar una segunda aplicación a ver si suena la flauta y se calla?

    Problema NO RESOLT

    T'està dient l'usuari que no funciona, que ha intentat amb GPS Locker i segueix sense funcionar.

    ACTUALITZAR d'una punyetera vegada l'APLICACION

    NO FUNCIONA AMB ANDROID 7, 8 I 8.1

    ¿Perquè té l'usuari d'utilitzar una segona aplicació a veure si sona la flauta i calla?

    Thanks for your feedback.

    We will add your case using Huawei P9light Android 7 to the list. There are some of them, even also many users are using the App without problems, also with Android 7.

    We will try to analyse the problem but, unfortunately can not talk about dates to have a solution yet.
