Unable to View Downloaded GPX route files on TwoNav Trail 2 GPS
Hi,
I have downloaded .gpx route files from OS Maps and added to my Trail 2 GPS successfully in the past.
I have just tried doing this again, and although I can see the route files have downloaded and copied across to the "Data" folder (I can view them on file explorer on my laptop, both in my download file, and in the Data folder on the GPS device once copied across), however, I am unable to see the new routes when I open the TwoNav Trail 2, and open/select the routes from the device.
I can still see previous routes downloaded from OS Maps, but not any new ones.
I do see a warning about copying files across to the GPS device (not all properties can be copied), but I had the same message in previous routes, and never had this problem.
I have even deleted old routes from the device, to see if it was a space issue, but to no avail.
Has anything changed that may have caused this?
Thanks!

Hello,
Yes it is a big challenge to have a clear synchonize with the cloud since a few days.
The Activity's are correctly synchronized
The roads, files.trk, files.rte, files.wpt are not synchronized
To have the sames new files files (For old files is good) on the PC and The GPS / Appli i have to put thems with the USB cable.
Send a request to the support, with the GPS reports files.
Thanks!

Hello,
It seems to me that this is a general problem of the CLOUD:
- We see the file exchange messages,
- On Link, Dashboard page the last route is listed, but in the route page there is nothing,
- The routes broadcast appear on the Cloud page,
- The last roads / diffused tracks are not visible on the GPS,
- The last roads / tracks are not visible on the AppBy inspecting the contents of the GPS and the App with a file manager, these traces are in the correct directory but in ../delete.
Try to shift them out of delete.
There must be either a bug which places the traces in ../delete or again a saturation of the data on the servers.
Use the USB cable, empty or delete all ../delete and ... / Conficted (GPS rating, app, and PC) then copy your track to the correct path on both sides, avoiding forcing Cloud synchronization.
It is necessary to avoid putting everything on the CLOUD (which some wish), a few months ago that the Cloud was storing for an account more than 100 tracesn this account lost the tree structure. Before the current bug, it is the traces page on the CLOUD and LINK which listed more files than those transmitted (In fact we could see all the traces of the data there whether they were broadcast or not).
I suppose that they are victims of their success or that the quantity of data to still have to pass beyond the limit, it will be necessary to wait either for a correction or a reallocation of the storage media.
Best regards

Having also had this problem (apparently Two Nav and OS are no longer in partnership) my husband has brilliantly found a simple work around for if you have a smartphone. Firstly you'll need to have the OSMaps app on your phone, logged in to your OS account, then:
1) On your phone download the app "TwoNav Link" and log in with your usual two nav password
2) On your GPS go to settings, Smartphone and Add Device
3) Once you've successfully paired open the OS app on your phone, choose your route, click Export GPX and select TwoNav Link. It then gives you the option to "Send to Paired Device"
It also seems that if your phone and device are both on it will remember the pairing, so after first set up you only need to do step 3. We haven't managed to find a way to export multiple routes, so the first time there was a bit of catching up to do - but only took about 20 minutes to get all our routes over.
