The TwoNav Cloud is the TwoNav storage and synchronization service that keeps your files up to date across all your devices: computer with Land, TwoNav app, GPS devices, and the website go.twonav.com.
To learn more about the TwoNav Cloud, you can check this article: What is the TwoNav Cloud?
Enable or disable synchronization in Land
In Land, you can enable or disable synchronization with the Cloud using the button
When synchronization is enabled in My PC, the program begins keeping your files up to date with the TwoNav Cloud.
Once enabled, Land performs synchronization in both directions (upload and download):
- Files that exist in Land but not in the Cloud will be uploaded.
- Files that exist in the Cloud but not in Land will be downloaded.
In this way, Land and the TwoNav Cloud will contain the same files.
Synchronization in Land is done automatically when the program starts and every 10 minutes.
You can also trigger it manually by clicking Synchronize now.
Each time you create or modify a file, the changes are synchronized with the Cloud, including properties such as color or description.
Note: If AutoSave is not enabled, synchronization will occur when you save the file.
File synchronization status
The status of each file is shown with a color in the Land data tree:
- Green → Synchronized
- Yellow → Pending synchronization
- Red → Synchronization error
- Black → Unsaved changes
- No icon → The file is not located in the synchronized folder
If a file has no icon, make sure it is located in the synchronized folder.
Synchronized folder in Land
Land synchronizes the first folder configured for data.
By default, it is usually:
"C:\Users\[YourUser]\Documents\CompeGPS\Data"
All files located in this folder will automatically be synchronized with the TwoNav Cloud.
Add files to the TwoNav Cloud
- Files created in Land are saved directly in the main data folder, so they are synchronized automatically.
- If you open files from other locations (for example, Downloads or Desktop), they will not be synchronized until you copy them into your main data folder.
To do this: Right-click > File > Copy to my Data folder. - Files downloaded from integrated online services (such as Komoot, Strava, or OpenRunner) are saved in a temporary folder to prevent them from being uploaded directly to your personal Cloud.
If you want to add them to the Cloud, use the option Copy to my Data folder.
Note: When opening these files, they will be marked as “unsaved”. Before closing them, Land will ask if you want to save them, and you can choose the main data folder.
Additionally, any file you manually add to the Data folder from File Explorer will also be uploaded automatically to the Cloud when Land synchronizes.
You can also add files to the Cloud through other access points:
- TwoNav App and GPS devices
- Website go.twonav.com
