TwoNav allows you to sync your activities with Strava. To do so, you just need to sync with GO Cloud and activate the linking of TwoNav GO with Strava from go.twonav.com. This linking can be done from 'Settings > Connected Services'.
Upload the activities recorded on your GPS or TwoNav App to Strava
Once you have both accounts activated, any new activity you perform with your TwoNav GPS or TwoNav App will be automatically uploaded to Strava as soon as it syncs with GO Cloud. That means if you record an activity with a GPS device, it will be uploaded to GO Cloud as soon as it has Wi-Fi connectivity, and from there to Strava automatically.
Important: If you have a GPS without connectivity like Anima, the process is the same, but you will need to connect the Anima to Land via USB to complete the synchronization.
Access your Strava activities from Land
From Land, you can access your Strava activities for a more advanced analysis with detailed graphs of altitude, speed, cadence, and heart rate, allowing for an in-depth study of your performance in each session. You can also compare activities and analyze specific sections of your routes.
Besides analysis, with Land’s editing tools, you can precisely modify your track routes, add waypoints, or remove unnecessary sections, making it ideal for optimizing planned routes. Follow these instructions to download your Strava activities in Land:
1 - In the data tree, click on 'Routes > My online routes'.
2 - Choose whether you want to download your own activities, saved routes from your Strava account, or favorite segments.
3 - Double-click on the route you want to open in Land, and from that moment on, you can start working with it in Land's main window.
TwoNav activities that do not exist on Strava
TwoNav devices allow users to choose which sport type to record an activity with. There is a list of available sports, but some do not exist on Strava. For this reason, activities recorded under the following sports will not be uploaded to Strava: 4x4, ATV-Quad, Trail Motorcycle, Paragliding, Hang Gliding, Hot Air Ballooning, Car, Aeronautics, Horse Riding, Other.
Strava activities that do not exist on TwoNav
Strava has a list of available sports, but some do not exist in TwoNav. To upload an activity recorded with one of these sports (available on Strava but not in TwoNav), you must record the activity using a TwoNav device with a different sport selected. Once uploaded to Strava automatically, you can edit the activity’s sport from the Strava website and select the correct sport.
Force the upload of a TwoNav GO activity to Strava
If for some reason an activity has not been uploaded to Strava, there is a way to force the upload:
1 - Go to the activity detail page and click on the 'Share' button.
2 - In the pop-up window, click the 'Send to connected services now' button. This will force the activity to be uploaded to Strava.
Troubleshooting
If some of your activities are missing on Strava, first check if they have been uploaded to GO. Verify that they are listed in go.twonav.com.
- If they are not listed, try syncing again via Wi-Fi.
- If the activities appear in GO but not on Strava, try using the 'Send to connected services now' button explained above.
- If activities still do not sync, they may contain sensor data requiring permission approval on the Strava website. Check by going to the Strava website and accessing 'Settings > Data Permissions'.
If issues persist, try disconnecting and reconnecting the Strava service from go.twonav.com. If the problem remains, you can contact us by opening a request at support.twonav.com.
