This short guide explains the steps TwoNav recommends following to get the TwoNav App up and running and make the most of your outings:
GETTING STARTED
As soon as you open the App, it is important to sign in with your TwoNav user account. This will allow you to synchronise your routes with GO Cloud (your free storage space) and share your best activities with friends.
In addition, once the TwoNav App is linked, you can also upload activities to external services such as Strava, Komoot, TrainingPeaks, Twitter, Dropbox or Google Drive…
INTERFACE OVERVIEW
Note: The contents of the map page can be customised and will vary depending on the situation.
CHOOSE YOUR SPORT
Before starting your activity, select your sport from ‘Main menu > Settings > Activity profiles > Profile’. TwoNav settings and calculations will adapt to the selected profile. By default, the TwoNav App includes several pre-configured profiles. If none of the existing profiles suits your activity, create a new one.
DOWNLOAD MAPS
By default, TwoNav will display Word_Base_Map as the base map. This is an online map with worldwide coverage.
You can also add more maps by tapping the '+' button from the map list.
-
Map Store: This is TwoNav's map store, where you will find a collection of more than 30,000 maps from some of the world's leading mapping institutes. These are offline maps, meaning that you can use them on your TwoNav devices even when you do not have an internet connection.
-
Install purchased maps: Tap this option to install any map you have purchased from the TwoNav Map Store.
-
Online maps: Gives you access to a server containing free maps from around the world. These are online maps, so your device must have an internet connection whenever you use them. This section also includes the Word_Base_Map displayed by default in the App.
- Import files: If you have your own maps and want to use them in the App, select this option to open map files stored elsewhere on your smartphone ('Downloads', 'My Files', etc.). Once selected, these maps will be automatically copied to the App's map folder:
