In this short guide we will explain the steps TwoNav recommends you to start the TwoNav App and enjoy your excursions:
FIRST STEPS
As soon as you switch on the App, it is important to log into your TwoNav user account so that you can synchronize your routes with the GO Cloud (your free storage space) and share your best activities with friends.
In addition, by linking with the TwoNav app, you can also upload activities to external services such as Strava, Komoot, TrainingPeaks, Twitter, Dropbox or Google Drive…
THE INTERFACE
Note: The content of the map page is configurable and varies in different situations.
CHOOSE YOUR SPORT
Before you start your activity, select your sport under 'Main menu > Settings > Activity profiles > Profile', TwoNav settings and calculations are adapted to the selected profile. The TwoNav App offers several preconfigured profiles by default. If no existing profile matches your activity, create a new profile.
DOWNLOAD MAPS
If you have your own maps and you want to use them in the App, remember that for the App to be able to show them, you must save the maps in these folders, otherwise the App will not find them and thus, will not be able to show the maps:
- Android (App TwoNav Free): 'Android/Data/com.compegps.twonav/files/TwoNavData/Maps' - iOS (App TwoNav Free): 'TwoNavData/Maps' |
Important: If you are an Android user and you have recently updated your TwoNav App and stopped seeing your maps, remember that you must relocate your maps from the 'TwoNavData/Maps' folder to the new location mentioned above. Once done, restart the App and you will see your maps. In case you don't, contact TwoNav's customer service for more help: http://support.twonav.com
