Add routes to TwoNav App

TwoNav allows you to use routes in different formats (TRK, GPX, KML...).

There are several ways to install them so that they are available in the list of routes:

Download routes from the App itself

Download GO Cloud routes

The routes that you have uploaded to the GO Cloud can be easily selected and downloaded from TwoNav itself:

1. Open the Routes list.
2. In the page menu, select 'My Online Routes'.
3. Select 'Go Cloud'. The routes available on your GO Cloud will be displayed.
4. Select the route and it will download and open.

Download routes from other services

From the Routes page menu you can also access to download routes from other services, divided into two types:

• 'My Online Routes' (Komoot, Suunto, IGN Rando...): Download routes from your personal space from these platforms.
• 'Discover Online Routes' (OpenRunner, UtagawaVTT, TraceGPS, FFCT...): Download routes from a list of public routes available for your current view of the map.

From other smartphone locations

If you have a route file in a phone folder, or in another application such as WhatsApp or email, you can import it into TwoNav. There are 2 ways to do it:

• Open the file from the other App or locate the file with the other application like file explorer. By selecting it, you will be able to choose TwoNav among the compatible applications to open it. Then the file will be copied to the TwoNav folder and it will open.
• 'Import' tool. From the routes list menu, select 'Import files'. A file explorer will open and you can select one or more files. Then they will be copied to the TwoNav folder and will be available in the routes list.

From Land

If you have Land synchronized with the GO Cloud, the routes you create will be available in the Cloud and you can select and download them as described in the first point (Download routes from the App itself).

For a route to be synchronized, it has to be saved in the main Land data folder. The routes you create in Land will be saved directly there, but if you open a route from another location (e.g. a route downloaded from a web), you will have to save it to the Land data folder manually:

• 'Right click > File > Copy to my Data folder' and it will be saved in the Land data folder automatically.
• 'Right click > File > Save track as...' and manually select the Land data folder to save it there.

You can also set a connection via FTP-WiFi (See article) to send files directly to a phone that is connected to the same WiFi network. This type of connection is only available for iOS, but not for Android at the moment.

Note: Due to Google/Android policy, some current smartphones have blocked access to the application data folders, in these cases you cannot manage their internal content or by USB, or with Land or with the file explorer .

Direct file folder management

The last option is to copy and paste the route files yourself in the TwoNav App data folder. The possibilities of doing this vary depending on the phone model, and above all depending on its platform (Android/iOS).

  • FTP-WiFi (See article): The same type of connection that allows Land to transfer files to the iOS App, also allows the transfer to be carried out using FTP client programs such as FileZilla.
