During navigation, TwoNav can alert you when you exceed limits and when approaching certain points of interest, allowing you to readjust your activity. Alerts will appear automatically in a pop-up window during navigation, and you will also receive an audio alert on your device. These alerts can be configured to suit your preferences. There are two types of alerts:
Default enabled alerts
As soon as you begin navigation, your device will automatically activate some alerts:
Waypoint proximity
Alerts you when you are approaching a waypoint. By default, it will notify you when you are less than 50 metres from the point. You can set the alert radius and audio alert in 'Main menu > Settings > Activity profiles > Alerts > Waypoint proximity'.
Route deviation
During your route, we recommend checking your device frequently to ensure you stay on the right path. If you deviate from the planned route at any time, your device will alert you, allowing you to readjust to the intended path. This alert can be set in 'Main menu > Settings > Activity profiles > Autoroute'.
Default disabled alerts
In addition to these alerts, TwoNav offers other alerts that, by default, are disabled but can be activated before or during navigation. You can set alerts for speed, slope, ascent, heart rate, and cadence, among others...
In 'Main menu > Settings > Activity profiles > Alerts > Data fields' you can choose which alerts to activate and set minimum and maximum values for these fields. For example, if you set a speed alert, TwoNav can notify you if you exceed the maximum speed set (a red alert) or fall below a minimum speed (a blue alert). This helps you maintain pace throughout your activity and monitor performance effectively.
