The TwoNav Cloud is the TwoNav storage and synchronization service that keeps your files up to date across all your devices: computer with Land, TwoNav app, GPS devices and the go.twonav.com website.
To learn more about TwoNav Cloud, you can read this article: What is TwoNav Cloud?
Enable or disable synchronization in TwoNav
In TwoNav you can enable or disable synchronization with the Cloud by tapping 'Main menu > Settings > TwoNav Cloud'.
When synchronization is enabled, TwoNav starts keeping your files updated with TwoNav Cloud.
Once enabled, TwoNav performs upload-only synchronization:
- Files that are in TwoNav but not in the Cloud will be uploaded.
- Files that are in the Cloud but not in TwoNav will NOT be downloaded.
Note: If you want to download a file, you must do it manually by tapping 'Main menu > Routes > More options > My online routes > TwoNav Cloud'.
If at any time you need to force upload synchronization, click Sync now.
Each time you create or modify a file, changes will be synchronized with the Cloud, including properties such as color or description.
File synchronization status
The status of each file is shown by a color in the TwoNav track list:
- Green → Synchronized
- Yellow → Pending synchronization
- Red → Synchronization error
- Black → Unsaved changes
- No icon → The file is not in the synchronized folder
If a file has no icon, make sure it is located in the synchronized folder.
Synchronized folder in TwoNav
TwoNav synchronizes the folder configured for data.
By default, it is usually:
- Android (TwoNav Free App): 'Android/Data/com.compegps.twonav/files/TwoNavData/Data'
- Android (TwoNav Premium App): 'Android/Data/com.compegps.twonavfull/files/TwoNavData/Data'
- iOS (TwoNav Free App): 'TwoNavData/Data'
- iOS (TwoNav Premium App): 'TwoNavData/Data'
All files located in this folder will be automatically synchronized with TwoNav Cloud.
Add files to TwoNav Cloud
- Files created in TwoNav are saved directly in the main data folder, so they are synchronized automatically.
- If you open files from other locations (for example, Downloads), they will automatically be copied to the main data folder and therefore synchronized automatically.
- Files downloaded from integrated online services (such as Komoot, Strava or OpenRunner) are saved in a temporary folder to prevent them from being directly uploaded to your personal Cloud.
Any file you manually add to the Data folder will also be automatically uploaded to the Cloud when TwoNav syncs.
Files can also be added to the Cloud from other access points:
- Land
- Web go.twonav.com
Delete files from TwoNav Cloud
If you want to delete files from the TwoNav Cloud, and therefore also from all devices synchronized with it, you can do it in the following ways:
-
From TwoNav
Right-click the file and select Delete file and remove from TwoNav Cloud. -
From the GO website
On go.twonav.com you will find a tool to delete files in the activity and route lists.
