A waypoint is a point defined by geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) and altitude.
It is a specific location on the map that is recorded so you can consult it, use it as a reference, or navigate to it later.
In TwoNav we can create waypoints easily and keep all our points of interest well organized.
There are several ways to create a waypoint in TwoNav.
From Pin mode
If you want to create a waypoint directly on the map, follow these instructions:
In the map window, press and hold on the point where you want to create the waypoint.
Tap 'More options > Create waypoint here'.
In the pop-up window, enter the basic waypoint information: name, icon, and other available details.
Confirm the creation of the point.
From the Waypoints menu
If you know the coordinates of the waypoint, follow these instructions:
Go to: 'Main menu > Waypoints'.
Tap 'More options > New waypoint'.
Choose location (current position, by map, coordinates, etc.).
Enter the waypoint details (name, coordinates, icon, etc.).
Confirm to save it.
From the map toolbar
If you know the coordinates of the waypoint, follow these instructions:
Go to the map toolbar
Tap the waypoint icon.
Edit the name, enter the coordinates of the location, and edit the waypoint properties.
Tap 'Accept' to save it
Note: If you do not modify the waypoint coordinates, it will be created at your current location.
