TwoNav GPS devices have capacitive screens, which means water droplets affect them as if we were tapping with a finger.
The issue on rainy days, especially when cycling, is that the screen starts reacting randomly, changing screens on its own or ignoring what we actually want to do.
Here we explain an optimal configuration for rainy days.
The idea is to lock the touch screen so that drops don't affect it. The problem is that with the current version, we will also lock the buttons.
To quickly lock/unlock the device, we just need to configure one of the physical buttons to activate this setting. To do this, we go to:
Menu>Settings>System>Keys
Here we assign the "Power: Short Press" button the option "Lock (screen on)".
This way, we can continue navigating our route without the screen behaving erratically.
