The status bar is a practical tool that allows you to quickly consult data without the need for complex interactions with the map.
Its main function is to display information immediately when moving the cursor over a point of interest on the map.
Immediate data display
When moving the cursor over the map, the data updates automatically, without the need to click. This allows quick consultation of values such as:
The exact altitude of a point on the map.
Its geographic coordinates.
Information on Tracks
This feature is especially useful for analyzing routes, as it provides immediate access to relevant information without additional steps.
When placing the cursor over a point of a track, the status bar shows specific information related to that point of the track:
Customization
The status bar is also configurable, so it can be adapted to the user’s needs and adjusted to display the preferred information.
To configure the status bar, right-click on it and select the option Configure status bar:
A window opens where you can select the data fields that will be displayed in the bar:
