Favorites bar

The favorites bar allows quick access to the files most frequently used in Land (Maps, tracks, waypoints...). You can also access the same items from the Data Tree, but from the favorites bar the access is much faster.

Open/Close the favorites bar

To open/close the favorites bar, click on the Show favorites function in the Main Toolbar:

Add items to the bar

To add an item to the favorites bar, drag it from the data tree to the favorites bar:

The item is pinned to the bar and will always be available whenever the favorites bar is open:

Change the position of an item on the bar

To change the position of an item on the favorites bar, click on the item, hold down the mouse button, and drag it to the new position:

The item is then pinned in the new position on the favorites bar:

Remove an item from the bar

To remove an item from the favorites bar, right-click on the item and select the Remove option:

The item no longer appears on the favorites bar.

Open/Close an item on the bar

To open/close an item on the favorites bar, simply click on the item’s icon on the bar to select/deselect it. 

When the item is selected, the file is open:

Cloud synchronization

If you synchronize Land with the Cloud, the favorites bar is also synchronized. That is, if you use Land on several computers and synchronize them with the Cloud, they will have the same items in the favorites bar:
