Land allows you to import waypoint files to easily integrate them into your maps or routes, including data from other GPS devices, mapping applications, or files shared by other users.
Each waypoint retains its coordinates, altitude, name, and comments, making it easy to view, edit, or use for route planning.
You can import waypoints in different formats such as .txt or .csv directly from Land by following these steps:
Go to: File > Import > Import waypoints in txt format. This will allow you to select a text or table file containing the point coordinates.
In the window that appears, select the file type you want to import (for example, .csv, .txt…).
A new window will open with a preview of the file’s data.
Specify the separator type used in the file between data (comma, semicolon, tab, etc.).
Define the data type for each column:
Assign the corresponding fields such as latitude, longitude, altitude, name… It is mandatory to select the column for X and Y coordinates.
Click OK.
In the next window, select the projection and datum of the file’s data.
Depending on the projection, also select the geographic zone if requested.
Click OK to complete the import process.
In the Land data tree under Waypoints, you will find the created file.
If you want to change the file name, you can do so with right mouse button > File > Rename file.
